Parts Blow-Off Systems

The heart of Pioneers Blow-Off System is our patented cyclonic blow-off nozzle, available in 3 standard sizes to adjust to any application. The cyclonic nozzle allows pinpoint aiming of multiple air-streams. Our unique design spins the airflow, creating a mini cyclone at the exit of the nozzle. This cyclone allows a more compact and denser air-stream that stays cohesive for a far greater distance than other more conventional blow-off nozzles. Our Cyclonic nozzle is available in several material and finish configurations, such as aluminum (standard), stainless steel, and/or coated in a tough, virtually impervious nylon coating.

Within this blow off system is a four stage 2 blower approach that effectively dries 16 different parts along a conveyor system.

Pioneer has blow-off systems such as this one (to your left) in large automotive parts plant. This system utilizes a 4 stage 2 blower approach to dry a multitude of different plastic part profiles. No less than 16 different part sizes and configurations are effectively dried without the need for any nozzle realignment or operator interference. With low maintenance and no moving parts, this blow off system is so effective that an oven was not required. Just a short dehydration tunnel preps the parts before final paint.

Here a Pioneer Blow-Off System is used for fascia parts in a short 8' blow-off module. 28 nozzles provide ample air-streams to easily accommodate the 12 different carrier presentations and part profiles.

Pioneer Dust-off and Surface Ionizing Equipment

Dust is a particular problem in paint application facilities. This dusting system was manufactured to blow-off dust from an car body prior to paint. Using compressed air fan nozzles to tightly contain the air-stream, dust is removed from the surface and vacuumed into the plenum mounted just behind. Several such arrays are used on the sides and top of the vehicle. The top array is controlled via photocells to automatically trace the vehicle surface to ensure dust removal on the hood, roof, and trunk.
Pioneer also manufactures ionizing halos, where ionized air is blown over a surface to remove adhesion of the dust particles to facilitate easy removal.

All Pioneer Systems come complete with all adjustment hardware, heavy duty flex hose, blower flex joints, vibration mounts, full engineering documentation and drawings for easy installation.
